The example of use of natural stone on buildings designed by Edo Mihevc

Abstract

The architecture of Edo Mihevc has a national as well as personal identity which has been ignored up till now in both lay and professional circles. The use of various types of natural stone on the facades of public buildings is one of the distinctive features of Edo Mihevc’s architectural design of all urban centers, with the exception of those in the Coastal region. The article is written also for geologists, who work in the field of the natural stone.
