Upper Paleozoic beds of Karavanke Mountains are rich in invertebrate and plant fossils, while the remains of vertebrates are extremely rare. A new cladodont shark tooth was found in Lower Permian beds near Hrušica, at the locality named Na Visokih. We have identified the tooth as belonging to species Glikmanius cf. occidentalis (Leidy). This is the first find of this species in the southern Europe.Downloads
