Feldspars from pegmatites of Ravne in Carinthia

Abstract

Feldspars of the Ravne pegmatites are composed of microcline, transitional varieties from orthoclase to microcline, and plagioclases showing characteristics from albite to oligoclase having 9 ½ percent anorthite on the average. The origin of the Ravne pegmatites is explained by the mobilization during a regional metamorphism. Their age is admitted to be Variscan.
