Abstract

The paper deals with geology and petrology of granites from the northwestern slopes of Mt. Moslavačka Gora. Comparatively small masses of granites are unconformably overlain by Miocene and Pliocene sediments. Available radiometric data point to the young-Alpine age of the granites which is correlatable with isotope age of granites from the adjacent Mt. Motajica. Granites of Mt. Moslavačka Gora are normal, and contain K-feldspar, oligoclase, quartz and biotite with secondary muscovite. At the end, the geochemistry of the granites is discussed in detail.
