Determination of the geochemical phone and noise at the example of uranium distribution in beds of Žirovski vrh

Abstract

The paper presents an example of determining the values of geochemical phone and geochemical noise, in accordance with the new definitions given by the author for parameters of the geochemical field, in the sedimentary clastites complex and mineralisation in the wider area of the uranium deposit Žirovski vrh (area approximately 3 km2). The paper represents practical elaboration of a new methodology of statistical analysys in geochemistry (dual histograms) by application of new concepts and terms in geochemistry. To earlier formed statistical samples were added three specimens with higher uranium content in an attemp to obtain an average uranium content of 10.2 μg/g for the wider area of the deposit, what represents the value of the local geochemical uranium phone for the wider area of the deposit. The determination of geochemical noise was conducted in three combinations, with regard to the adopted values of threshold of geochemical anomalies. Ali analyses were done on the logarithmic statistical scale »log 1 : 20« μg/g.
