Contributions to paleolimnology of the Bled Lake, Slovenia, and to evolution of adjoining vegetation and climate

Abstract

In a 675 cm long core of late glacial to early postglacial sediments from the east part of the Bled Lake pollen and pigment were investigated and results compared with data from similar profiles in Carinthia (Austria).
