Abstract

The article deals with the largest corona of a fossil sea urchin in Slovenia. The corona was found in Badenian beds in surroundings of the Levstik mill near Podsreda. It belongs to the form Clypeaster campanulatus forma pyramidalis Michelin, 1861. Similar large and similary shaped coronas were found in beds of the same age at Podsused on southwestern slopes of Mt. Medvednica, Croatia.
