Abstract

A lithostratigraphic subdivision of the Julian and Tuvalian beds in the Toško Čelo and Vintarjevski potok area has been performed in this paper. The sedimentary sequence in the Toško Čelo area is subdivided into seven lithostratigraphic units, namely: bedded limestone, limestone and dolomite, oncolite, lower dolomite, platy limestone with chert, upper dolomite, and platy nodular limestone. Beds in the Vintarjevski potok area are subdivided into eight litostratigraphic units: basal breccia and conglomerate, lower limestone, lower dolomite, middle limestone, upper dolomite, upper limestone, red marl and topmost limestone.
